The STIHL BGA 160 battery leaf blower delivers consistently high blowing power throughout the entire battery charge. Designed for demanding tasks, it’s suitable for both private use and professional cleaning, such as building maintenance. Lightweight, quiet, and easy to manoeuvre, it offers exceptional user comfort.
Its short, compact design and curved blower tube reduce wrist strain, making it ideal for fatigue-free operation. The variable blowing force lets you adapt to different cleaning tasks, while the integrated boost mode provides maximum power for challenging jobs. For extended use, the desired blowing force can be set at the touch of a button, reducing strain on the index finger and enhancing comfort.
STIHL Sound Engineering significantly reduces disruptive noise and unpleasant frequencies, making the BGA 160 quieter for both the user and the surrounding environment.
The blower tube can be removed without tools for space-saving storage in a workshop, garage, or basement. Alternatively, the BGA 160 can be hung on a wall using the integrated carrying ring.
Equipped with the Smart Connector, the BGA 160 is ready for networked operation via STIHL connected.
All battery-powered tools in the STIHL AP System are built for regular professional use, even in adverse weather. They are certified splashproof, with performance verified through rigorous internal testing aligned with the IPX4 standard. The BGA 160 is officially certified to IPX4, confirming its suitability for use in rainy conditions.
Note: The AP 300 S battery is also certified to the IPX4 protection class.

Applying extra pressure on the trigger instantly engages the maximum blowing force, regardless of the pre-selected power level, and without requiring a change in your grip position.
COMPACT AND ERGONOMIC. The battery cells of this power tool are permanently integrated directly into the housing. This has made it possible to use a very slim and compact power tool housing design, and means you can work with a well-balanced tool. It makes your work highly ergonomic and means you can spend more time using this power tool without fatigue. The supplied charging cable is all that’s required.
LOW-MAINTENANCE AND EFFICIENT. The compact, lightweight EC engine delivers high efficiency and a long service life, allowing for energy-efficient operation.
SPLASHWATER PROTECTION. The IPX protection classes define the moisture protection of electrical or electronic devices. The moisture protection test is defined in different stages. IPX4 certifies protection against splashwater from all sides. Battery-powered tools with this certification are therefore designed for daily use, even in rainy conditions.
